Very SS 2013

I love a bit of Very.. They offer next day delivery, have a shed load of lovely bits available and then they allow you to pay it off in 3 instalments with NO interest... What's not to like eh?

Here are some new bits added to their site that I'm obsessing over - www.very.co.uk

I've always been a fan of jumpsuits and this one by the lovely Fearne Cotton has got me obsessed - the colour is divine!! Jumpsuits are so comfy but can be a funny fit (watch out for the camel toe girlies..) so always best to try before you buy!! Good job that Very offer returns..

This top by Jameela Jamil is also an awesome design - Perfect under a cardie or paired with some denim shorts in the summer.. I love it's off the shoulder vibe and I think I'll be adding some of my own (clean) wording to those empty boxes.. It's too tempting not too! Customise it to your requirements...

Have you seen the new collection online? What pieces have taken your fancy?

Till next time... M x

Booty!

I succumbed to the damn sales. I've been very frugal mind you.. Only due to the fact that I can no longer smuggle anymore shoes/boots/loot into the damn house for fear of being busted by the other half!! Anyways.. These lovely little booties were in H&M the other day for a mere £10.

They are gorgeous little Chelsea boots in the most delightful tan colour. The heel is easy to walk in and they are so so comfy!

Here's a little pic of how I styled them yesterday - jeans, jumper, fur coat and tartan scarf... Standard get up in this weather!

Jeans - Jamie @ Topshop
Fur Coat @ eBay
Tartan Scarf @ H&M

Bag @ Zara

What's been your best buy in the sales?

LFW2013!

With London Fashion Week fast approaching - less than 5 weeks boys and girls! (Press, buyers & bloggers can register online for accreditation & fast-track entry into LFW here - http://bit.ly/Reg13). I thought I'd have look over the outlandish outfits that have graced the runways of Men's London Fashion Week. Now we all know that fashion gets a little crazy, a little out-there, no holds barred - but this really was something else. My love for JW Anderson started when he collaborated with Aldo to produce some stunning footwear last year, his collection for Topshop was also one of the best-selling collabs ever. (I absolutely loved the bat jumper)

But anyways, I recently read an article in the Evening Standard, 'JW Anderson - The Designer who doesn't do dresses'. It's true to its word you know, he really doesn't! He feels that a dress limits women and they aren't free to mix and express as they would with two pieces. I'm not sure I agree but hey, I digress.

Let me just draw your attention to his collection for Men's London Fashion Week 2013 - what on earth was he thinking here then? He's really pushing the limits of fashion and come up with some saucy little numbers - thigh high skimming dresses for men!

And then MAN went and pushed it all a little further with some mental accessories. Now I've just managed to get the husband into a snood.. I'm really not sure how any of this will go down.

What else shocked you at Men's London Fashion Week? Are you excited about LFW?

Hell for Leather!

Everyone loves a bit of leather - it's the ultimate rock star material! I'm always wearing my little biker jacket come rain or shine and recently I've been pining for a cheapish leather or decent looking PU effect black knee length pencil skirt. I'm seriously vamping up the sex appeal for 2013!!

It's such a versatile look though - you can dress it up and look uber glam with a luxe top, or rock the casual chic with a tee or vest and heels. Obviously it can be worn with tights, in this weather it's probably advisable, but when Spring finally arrives then get those pins out - super hot!

Heidi Klum and Agyness Dean look effortlessly hot in these two different looks with the same style of skirt.

I've found a real premium leather skirt on the H&M website for a mere £60 - not a bad purchase at all. However Next also do a reasonable looking PU leather effect skirt for £28 - now this is a popular choice on their site and as a result 3 weeks are going to have to be sat waiting if I opt for this one..

Can you tell the difference between the real and fake?

Top - H&M £59.99
Bottom - Next £28

What do you think? Have you seen any other decent PU versions? Do you prefer Agyness's or Heidi's look?

New Year..

So 2013 is upon us. My new years list of things that I must do has already fallen by the wayside as the kids go back to school/nursery and I return to work! However I have told myself that blogging and my allotment are two things that I must focus on more this year.. This is my intention anyway! We shall see how the year pans out..

Hope you all had a good festive period - I know I did! Way too much food and alcohol was consumed though and now I'm back at the gym with a vengeance - Jennifer Nicole Lee you had better watch your back! The hubby has drafted me a pretty intense workout and I am so on this fitness vibe - at the moment!

Anyways, now I'm back at work I thought that I would use the medium of my first blog post of the year to shamelessly plug the possibility of working with us at the Sunglasses Shop -

Basically I'm looking for some bloggers to collaborate with us by doing product reviews, sponsored posts and potential giveaways. We have some fab brands online. Here are a few of my faves...
